I’m Ian, a digital product designer focused on turning complex tasks into clear, intuitive workflows. I specialize in systems thinking and data visualization, and believe the best design empowers human autonomy by making the world around us easier to use and understand.

Personal

I was born in a field in West Texas and found I was happiest with a life in motion. I have since lived in seven cities across four states and three countries. I’m an avid runner, reader, bilingual spanish speaker, and a lifelong artist — recently shifting my focus from illustration to painting. When I'm old and gray I will retire to building designer furniture and bird houses.
